Good luck, as I dont know how stable any of that is.Ĭracked it! Short of that, if you have any on time machine in that days version of the Library >application Support> mobile backups etc?Įach time you copy a Time Machine backup to your active library foler mentioned above-lease make sure evrything already there has been archived, and as soon as you copy it in- archive it too. Then.(presuming that went ok) - unplug your device and wipe it manually - and proceed as usual.

This is a long shot - but can you go into your iTunes >Pref > Dev and in the list of backups identify which was your ios 9 backup? if so- quick! (lol) archive it (using a control tap, or a right click on a mouse) - this at least should preserve the backup if you haven't written over it with a new backup.

A full restore would obviously be more disireable. Is there any way you can help me? Even just to get a small amount of info out of the backup like contacts and photos would be helpful. I'm wondering if this is to do with the different beta numbers? I'm currently wokrking with a backup that i did just under a year so as you can imagine, i've lost a lot of information (even though my backup is still there on ITunes).

I've download iBackupbot and can't get anything at all transferred over. I started the restore function but i received an error to say itunes could not restore because the backup was corrupt or not compatible. I tried this and to my surprise, the days earlier backup showed up.

I thought about this and realised that i needed to reinstal ios9 then try to restore. When i came to restore my files from my previous day's backup it didn't show in itunes. In prep for this i made sure i backed my iphone up and reverted it back to ios8 incase they swapped any of the hardware over. On Sunday i had a genius appointment to look at my Iphone's front camera. I've posted a question here before a got a couple of replies but it was deleted before saw them for some reason.Īnyway i'll try again, i'm a public tester of IOS9 and really need some help.
